Supply Quality
Our supply quality team is responsible for verifying that all purchased materials and equipment comply with the technical specifications, regulations, and quality standards required for each project. Their responsibilities include the following tasks:
1. Technical Documentation Review
Before manufacturing or delivery, the inspector reviews the technical documentation provided by suppliers, including material certificates, drawings, manufacturing procedures, and technical specifications. They verify that the documentation is complete and aligned with the requirements of specifications and purchase orders.
2. Factory or On-site Inspection
We conduct in-person or remote inspections during the manufacturing of equipment, components, or critical materials. This may include weld monitoring, heat treatment tracking, assembly processes, among others. We verify material traceability and ensure that processes follow approved procedures and comply with applicable standards such as ASME, API, ASTM, ISO, and others.
3. Dimensional Control and Testing
We perform dimensional checks, pressure tests, non-destructive testing (NDT), mechanical tests, and laboratory analyses on materials and equipment. Results are recorded in quality reports to ensure compliance with contractual acceptance criteria.
4. Equipment Release and Acceptance
Once all verifications are complete, the inspector issues reports and authorizes the release of materials or equipment. This step is essential to ensure that only components that meet quality controls are incorporated into the project.
5. Nonconformity Management
We identify deviations from technical specifications or quality standards. In each case, we issue nonconformity reports and track their resolution, including corrective and preventive actions implemented by the supplier, in coordination with procurement, engineering, and quality assurance teams.
6. Supplier and Logistics Coordination
We maintain fluid interaction with suppliers, transporters, and technical teams to coordinate inspections, validations, and deliveries. This includes verifying labeling, marking, and documentation to ensure supply integrity and proper installation.
7. Compliance and Traceability
We ensure that all supplies meet the codes and regulations applicable to the project. We maintain complete documentation traceability for each component, providing a solid foundation for audits, future maintenance, and performance evaluations.
In summary, the quality team ensures that each component performs its function reliably and safely from day one. Their work ensures the integrity, durability, and safety of installations from the procurement stage, contributing to efficient, safe, and sustainable projects.
