Instrumentation and Control
Our Instrumentation and Control (I&C) team designs and implements the systems that enable automated monitoring and operation of industrial processes. From sensor selection to the implementation of SCADA and DCS control systems, their role is key to operational accuracy and safety. Below are their main responsibilities:
1. Instrumentation System Design
We design instrumentation systems that allow real-time process monitoring and control. This includes the selection of sensors, transmitters, control and safety systems, and final control elements required for data acquisition and operational execution.
2. Instrument and Equipment Specification
The I&C team is responsible for specifying measurement and control instruments and devices. They ensure accurate operation and reliable measurements of key process variables such as pressure, temperature, flow, and level.
3. Control Strategy Development
Together with the Process team, we develop control strategies to optimize operational processes. This includes control logic development, loop diagrams, and wiring diagrams required to implement all physical interconnections between equipment.
4. SCADA System Development
We deliver the complete engineering scope required for the implementation of SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) systems, including the design of communication architectures that enable centralized monitoring and control of various operations. This supports data analysis and informed decision-making.
In summary, the I&C team ensures efficient, reliable, and safe control of all plant systems.
5. Installation Supervision
During the construction and assembly phase, the I&C team supervises the installation of control and measurement equipment. We ensure compliance with design specifications and applicable safety regulations.
6. Testing and Validation
We provide technical support during comprehensive testing of instrumentation and control systems (Pre-commissioning and Commissioning) prior to start-up. This includes verifying functionality, device communication, and data interpretation. These tests are essential to ensure correct performance of control and safety loops before plant startup.
