Electrical Engineering
Our Electrical team designs, specifies, and implements the electrical systems that power the various installations within an industrial plant. We are responsible for the generation and distribution of electrical energy, as well as the control and monitoring systems required for safe and efficient operation. We also develop the complementary systems needed to support plant functionality. Our responsibilities include the following tasks:
1. Electrical System Design
We develop the design of electrical systems, including power generation and distribution to the plant’s various electrical consumers, as well as protection systems and supervision and control systems for electrical energy management.
Additionally, we design lighting systems, grounding, lightning protection, electrical tracing, cathodic protection, etc. This involves performing electrical studies and calculations, selecting appropriate equipment, and producing detailed electrical drawings in compliance with industry codes and standards.
2. Equipment Specification
We select and specify the electrical equipment required for the project, including transformers, generators, switchgear, and remote control and monitoring systems. This task is essential to ensure that all electrical components operate in an integrated and efficient manner.
3. Electrical Installation Supervision
During the construction and assembly phases, we actively ensure compliance with technical requirements and apply the necessary adjustments as installation progresses. We conduct field inspections and coordinate activities with other engineers and contractors.
4. Testing and Commissioning
We participate in functional and performance tests of electrical systems before and during commissioning. This ensures that all components operate correctly and within established parameters, contributing to the safe and efficient execution of the project.
In summary, the quality team ensures that each component performs its function reliably and safely from day one. Their work ensures the integrity, durability, and safety of installations from the procurement stage, contributing to efficient, safe, and sustainable projects.
